Mission:
To strengthen Nepal’s media sector, promote ethical journalism, conduct research-based policy advocacy, and empower citizens through responsible information dissemination and capacity-building initiatives.
Vision:
To create a transparent, accountable, and informed society by fostering ethical journalism, innovative media practices, and research-driven policymaking, ultimately fostering the formation of a prosperous nation.
The key objectives of the organization are:
- Strengthening the Media Sector: Ensuring the proper flow of accurate information through digital media, social networks, television, radio, newspapers, FM stations, online news portals, YouTube channels, and other platforms.
- Contributing to Research and Policy Making: Conducting studies on governance, rule of law, human rights, politics, economy, environment, health, and socio-cultural issues to provide recommendations to policymakers.
- Enhancing Journalism and Media Professionals’ Skills: Organizing training and workshops to develop the skills and knowledge of media personnel.
4. Social Service and Citizen Empowerment: Running awareness programs for women, children, people with disabilities, senior citizens, and marginalized communities.
